Welcome to Shearer Cottage, family-owned and operated with pride since 1903. Shearer Cottage is nestled in a quiet area Oak Bluffs on the Island of Martha's Vineyard. Our Our guests enjoy relaxing at Shearer Cottage which has six cozy studios, wrap-around porches with antique rocking chairs and wicker furniture, spacious side yards and a large living room. Each studio is decorated in pleasant country style and provides guests with cable television, kitchenette and private bath. Smoking is confined to yards and porches. Shearer Cottage is ideal for large gatherings and can accommodate many guests at one time. Our family dates back more than one hundred years on Martha's Vineyard. It is close to, yet comfortably removed from, the hustle and bustle of downtown Oak Bluffs and is centrally located to the other Island villages.
The
Oak Bluffs Inn is a perfect place to stay while visiting Martha's
Vineyard. The Inn is located at the top of the main street in town
directly across from the two finest restaurants on the island. The
harbor and beach are a five minute walk down the street, past many
shops and restaurants. The Inn has nine bedrooms, all with private
bath, air conditioning and including a continental breakfast. The
rooms are individually decorated with antiques, designer linens, matelasse
coverlets and accent pillows. We provide you with designer toiletries,
hair dryers, beach towels and beach chairs. The Inn features a large
wrap around porch where guests enjoy their morning coffee and evening
drink of choice.
